Aaron formally began his Piano Studies 19 years ago through the ABRSM in the Middle East. Throughout his musical career, he has enjoyed expanding into more contemporary genres of music with his classical experience. He is the current Music Director at both Grace Church, Markham and St. Stephen’s, Maple. When not recording with his wonderful choirs, Aaron spends most of his free time songwriting. He believes heavily in the power of the Arts and how every single person has the ability to produce some form of music. He will not take “No, I can’t.” for an answer. Aaron does not believe in a “bad” or “wrong” genre of music. Everything has its purpose, you just have to have an open mind, and more importantly, an open ear. He feels truly grateful to be in the position that he is in and does not take it for granted. Did you know that Aaron also dabbles with the accordion? He may even let you play any of the three he has stored at the Studio!

Griffin has had a passion for music his entire life. His main area of focus is vocals, but has also been playing the guitar since the age of 12. With two parents being casual musicians, he was constantly surrounded by music growing up and he quickly learned to appreciate and admire all genres of music. Some of his favorite styles of music include Pop, Rock, R&B, Country, and Blues. The reason he loves music is that it is a universal language. He strongly believes that no matter where you come from, music has the ability to express one’s thoughts and emotions while having the power to bring people together. He often tells people that it doesn’t matter how talented of a singer or guitar player or any other kind of musician they are because as long as they are having fun and using music to express themselves, that’s all that matters!

Justin is a drummer and percussionist based out of Toronto. He began playing guitar at the age of 8, dabbled in piano a little later on, but then got behind a drum kit for the first time in grade 10 and never looked back. Justin has played with multiple bands. He’s played anywhere from small-town local venues to downtown music institutions – his favorite being the El Macombo. Justin spent three years on his High School Drumline and marched Drum Corps International for a summer with the Blue Saints, dedicating himself to marching and drumming for 10-12 hours a day. He has also created percussion-based scores for various theatre productions. His curiosity for the endless types of percussion-based instruments has led him to play anything from the drum kit to marching drums, or the Cajon to the djembe. For Justin, percussion is his greatest passion. Percussion is something that can bring people together instantly through the simple beat of a drum. With every lesson he has, Justin hopes to share his love and excitement for the drums. He firmly believes that with a combination of enthusiasm and technique, anyone can play the drums!
